Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch with friends this fall.  The kids had a great time in the corn maze.  We picked out pumpkins for carving.

Fall is Here!

I love the fall weather! I actually love spring more, but it is too close to the hot summer weather. In the fall, it is far, far away! Except for this week. It will get hot again. Then cold. There goes our fall. But we did have a few days of 70s weather. I took the kids on a surprise field trip last week, to the Pumpkin Patch. It had an awesome corn maze that the kids loved. Then we bought a bunch of pumpkins. Here are some pics:

Hiking

We found a new place for hiking this year! Unfortunately, I found out about it at the end of spring, but we were able to get one hike in there before it got too hot. We drove about 30 min into the mountains and hiked about a mile or so to the little creek. I was surprised to see so many wildflowers at the end of May. I look forward to going again in the fall.
