I really do want to blog more often! Tiredness is what usually wins! I am in the process of downloading a bunch of our beach camping pics, and it is taking a long time. So I thought I'd post while I waited and hopefully, I'll post those pics soon. So tonight I will post what we are doing in school.
Kitty, 8th grade:
Bible, reading through the Old Testament,
Math: Teaching Textbooks 7 (near the end)
History/Geography: Mystery of History(Creation - Resurrection)
Science: Apologia General Science
Language Arts: Spelling Power; Creative Writing; Easy Grammar
Reading: She reads LOTS of great books, including classics

Handwriting; Still tracing large letters, doing various fine motor skill practice

Bible: Reading Messianic prophecies and their fullfilments, memorizing various scripture
Art: I am using the Simply Charlotte Mason website as a guide. Right now we are studying James John Audubon. I love his bird paintings!
Music: Same website as above, studying Johan Sebastian Bach
Health: Cleanliness, Hygiene (a good resource are our Keepers of the Faith handbooks)
PE: In the backyard, doing calisthenics and learning various skills.
Reading: Lots of great books, the last book, Snow Treasures. Current book, Titus Rules by Dick King-Smith.
